Experience

I’ve always known I wanted to focus my career on helping people. Through my personal experiences, I understand the struggle of transition, relationship building, and letting go, especially through my own battles with depression and anxiety. I grew up across Pittsburgh, London, Minneapolis, and then to the Philadelphia suburbs; my education then took me to the south for college at Furman University and then back to my home in Philadelphia for a Masters in Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania. Since then, I have practiced all throughout the city and the surrounding suburbs in various private practices and nonprofits. Through these periods, I’ve gained and lost relationships, struggled through long distance family challenges, and gained a greater understanding of how to strengthen the aspects of my life that are truly important in the midst of changing environments and circumstances. My personal experiences, professional background, and education all inform the way I work with clients to help them navigate their own challenges. My hope is to offer grace, hope, and healing to people in the midst of struggling. You are not alone.
